Information We Collect
When you submit a contact form, book a consult, or email us, we collect what you provide directly, typically your name, email, phone number, practice-area interest, and message. We also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, device type, approximate location) through website analytics tools.
Cookies & Analytics
Our site uses cookies to remember basic preferences and to power aggregate analytics about how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so may limit some site features but won’t affect your ability to contact us.
Third-Party Processors
We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to run the practice: Calendly for scheduling consults, our email provider for correspondence, and web analytics tools for traffic reporting. Each processes only the information necessary to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy terms.
How Long We Keep Information
Contact-form inquiries that do not become client matters are retained for up to 24 months for follow-up purposes, then deleted. Records for active or former clients are retained according to the Law Society of BC’s professional record-keeping requirements.
Your Choices
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete non-client inquiry records. We’ll respond to any such request within 30 days.
